Our story
From one office in Milton Keynes to four offices nationwide.
Moneywize started in 2011 with a small office, a kettle, and one founder who was tired of watching small business owners get treated badly by big-firm accountants. The plan was simple: be the practice that picks up the phone, explains things clearly, and treats clients like the experts they are in their own business.
Fifteen years later that’s still the rule. We’ve added offices in Peterborough, Boston, and the City of London. We’ve added specialists in tax, audit, payroll, and part-time FD. We’ve added software, automation, and the boring useful stuff. What we haven’t added is layers between you and your accountant.
Every Moneywize client still gets a named contact. Every client still gets same-day replies. Every client still gets advice in plain English. Some things, you don’t change.
2011 The first office opens
Founder Nabeel sets up shop in Milton Keynes with one rule: pick up the phone, explain it properly.
2014 Peterborough opens
Demand from the region brings the second office and the first hires from outside MK.
2017 Boston opens
Third office serving Lincolnshire SMEs — agricultural and hospitality specialism added.
2019 The London office
City of London office at Lloyd's 1986 Building — supporting scaling SMEs and PE-backed businesses.
2022 Part-time FD launches
Senior finance expertise for growing businesses, monthly or project — without senior salary cost.
2025 500+ active clients
